Hay muchas razones para identificar a tu perro y/o gato.
Si alguien quiere robarse a un perro, lo hará con o sin identificación. Sin embargo si alguien quiere ayudar a un perro a regresar a casa, sólo lo puede hacer si el perro cuenta con su identificación.
Lo cierto es que día a día muchísimos perros se pierden por diversas razones:
• Alguien dejó la puerta abierta
• Se perdió mientras paseaba
• No está esterilizado y salió porque olió a una hembra en celo
• Se alejó demasiado de sus dueños
• Escarbó debajo de la cerca y logró escaparse
• Escaló o saltó la cerca y logró escaparse
• Escapó debido a un susto (esto suele suceder en época de fiestas o tormentas. El ruido de fuegos artificiales o relámpagos puede asustarlos tanto, que encuentran la manera de escapar y salir corriendo)
Y la mayoría de los perros que se pierden NO tienen identificación:
• Porque normalmente andan sin collar y lo peor de todo: sin placa
• Porque el collar no tiene sus datos
Hay muchas personas que SI están interesadas en ayudar a que un perro perdido se reencuentre con su familia. A diario vemos anuncios en las redes sociales y en la calle, donde la gente cuenta que ha encontrado un perro sin identificación.
Las chapitas identificatorias son indispensables a la hora de encontrar a tu perro.
Si no la tiene, nadie podrá ayudarlo a volver a casa.
Hay muchas opciones para identificar a tu perro y algunas no son tan costosas.
Asegúrate de que tu perro siempre tenga puesto su collar y su placa.
Comparte con tu familia la importancia de cuidar la puerta y vigilar que tu perro no se salga. Es importante también revisar los accesos de bardas, cercas y rejas y asegurarnos de que nuestro perro no pueda escarbar, saltar o escabullirse a través de ellas.
Un perro no se sale de su casa porque quiera alejarse de ella, lo hace porque algo allá afuera llamó su atención, pasó una hembra en celo, hubo un ruido que lo asustó o simplemente le dieron ganas de explorar.
